Meet Lynn Gorman Bakos
Owner & Instructor

Lynn Gorman Bakos, ARIA certified riding instructor, owner of Renegade Farm. Lynn also has a B.Sc degree in Elementary Education from Ohio State Univ. and has taught grades 4 through 8. She has been riding horses for over 30 years, shown successfully in Ohio and on local NY circuits, winning year end Championships in many divisions. Lynn rides both Western & Hunt seat and studied under Eve Mainwaring, a member of the Horsewomen 's Hall of Fame and former Olympic rider. Lynn has trained many of her own horses and emphasizes safety throughout the curriculum. All horses used in the programs are either owned by Lynn or boarded at Renegade Farm.Renegade Farm Gift Certificates

Renegade Farm
Renegade Farm, established in 1996, is located in western Schenectady County on Mariaville Rd (Rte 159) in Princetown NY, minutes away from Exit 25A of I-90, Schenectady, Scotia-Glenville, Rotterdam, Niskayuna and Amsterdam. .
Renegade Farm is unique in its offerings, friendly atmosphere and reasonable rates. Horses are treated like royalty by the experienced staff at Renegade Farm. We provide over 40 acres of lush green pastures with 3 run-in sheds, hedgerows and heated water troughs. A separate pony pasture and smaller grass paddocks are also available. Stalls are 10 x 12 matted and cleaned daily.
Western & English riding lessons are taught by the owner & director, Lynn Bakos, an American Riding Instructor Association (ARIA) certified instructor. We attend local horse shows and host a horse show for our students and boarders. On premises leasing is available as is summer camp and an Adult Horsemanship Course. Safety is our number one concern.
